You Are 04:44
You said ‘til the end, yes you did, yes you did
2.
all over from the begining you knew what the test should be the result's in now you want to argue with chemistry so we wait for a change and we’re forced to carry on on with what remains born on the wrong day heard him say that dreams are a commodity off the record, the one he was spinning at thirty three and a third now’s your chance will you bring the harvest home and join the dance? and they break scattering around the place moving to the sound in waves the promise of a better place now forever he will ... all done for the widow’s son, they changed “Canaveral” to “Kennedy” pave the way for the coming explosion at thirty three and a third

Pure Poetry 02:35
I’ve tried too many times - can’t find the words to say out and seein’ the sights - before it’s time to play vanish into the night - just let ‘em take the show well it wouldn’t be right - still with so far to go the latest gear - but all they bring are boring tunes with no melody I’ve been given “the talk” - I know when I can’t stay let the promises fall - I’ll end up where I may then back in on the one - we’ll let the record play ‘til the music is done - everyone’s left the stage pure poetry - in twos and threes they drift away on the evening breeze then back in on the one - get up roll up a sleeve until everything’s done - this is where you’ll find me

Montana 04:03
it’ll take you if you let it so go ahead and let it don’t ask “are we there yet?” just go along with it works best to pretend you don’t notice it gonna head to montana there’s a mountain to climb if you ask why, i’ll answer back with that old cliche “because it’s there” but that’s not really why come on and join in it’s more fun with more friends a chance to catch up with Anna and her kids tell her we’ll be fine we’ll drive through the night dressed in her morning gown children all around now the view is clear go tell them we’re here traveling from the coastline to the summit go tell them we’re here go tell them we’re here go tell them we’re here

Buoy 04:58
well then, welcome in! you’re ok now, I’m on your side look at the view here you’ve been out on this road for awhile and the lines switched and her arms twitched and the mind slips and her bracelets when the fog lifts and it’s common sense now you’re part of it you’re part of it now she delivers with perfect timing her best line-it had us howling never really saw for certain was she here live and in person? in the barn dip and the cool whip and the lost grip and the sides flip on the wrong trip with a long clip and we’re all in it we’re all in it now
7.
see how high we’ve climbed it’s a special thing pour it in pour it up, everybody sing! haven’t been since I don’t know when and I can’t go out in the shape I’m in throw it out throw it in roll it up like string climbing up into the night, I know that you’re waiting for me I wake up and there you are, or maybe I’m still asleep Annie’s place in the stars what a sight to see for the gem in her crown, lapis lazuli if you go in there’s a price to pay, and the price ain’t cheap-hey, but that’s ok I'd be there all the time if it were up to me climbing up into the night, I know that you’re waiting for me I wake up and there you are, or maybe i’m still asleep rising up into the light, I know that you’re waiting for me I wake up and there you are, or maybe it’s all a dream

Yaaaaaa! 05:07
in a room that’s so blue - Where they were deciding how we would fare from the onset you knew - That it would devour you but you didn’t care so glad I saw you in that beautiful place it was all I could do just to return your gaze on a river so pale, we all heard the voices no one said a thing and it all was for sale from April to August you bought a ring you know that I’m still here - I never went away darling I’m waiting in the garden today on a bayou causeway driving home from New Orleans you put on the brakes at the end of the day when you found your undoing - ended the race thought it was over then you took their place all the world knows you did so get that look off your face

tiny little point where the light pours out writing down what’s said still notes to finish as the time runs out almost had it arrive in style gettin' there was so hard can only take it so far out of things to say and when she smiles I see it in a new light shorter as the crow flies a stone’s throw away and I’ll be coming down her way and then you find the little things that she hides only shows the good side ate all the grapes until next time they’re giving you a new chore something new to live for your turn on the stage a zillion times sorting through what she said angels on a pinhead photographs and tapes so pick your side whichever one that you’re on the old one or the new one you know they’re the same maybe I called it in too late arrive in style gettin' there was so hard can only take it so far elevate the day and when she smiles I see it in a new light shorter as the crow flies a stone’s throw away and then you find the little things that she hides only shows the good side ate all the grapes until next time they’re giving you a new chore something new to live for your turn on the stage a zillion times sorting through what she said angels on a pinhead photographs and tapes so pick your side whichever one that you’re on the old one or the new one you know they’re the same I guess I called it in too late

here we are and ain't it great started out in ‘98 enjoy the view but don’t be late choices must be made back again with our old friends such a gas to be with them everybody joinin’ in, let the music play in a time-lapse shot look at all you’ve got out there in the crowd with your head up in the clouds at the top and swimming in porcelain and vermilion nothing wrong with steppin' in that’d be where she found me sure the wine it played a part our decline state of the art boys don’t ever give your heart to a girl from Cheatham county in a time-lapse shot look at all we’ve got out there in the crowd with our head up in the clouds

Yonder Shore 03:20
we are just visiting this place we were born in outer space ever since that fall from grace I’ve been trying to replace Why is it that I’m so drawn to your face and into your eyes? It's as if I know you from somewhere before so I know now where it flows and I’ll know her when she shows now is not yet time to go there are still things I need to know
14.
Plan 'B' 04:59
With the mornin’ comin’ Everyone goes in All the things that I made They all fail in the end When the brilliant sun is Calling us to it I’ll be there, just you wait I’ll go storming on in When what’s done is undone The premises cave in I’ll be there to bring you back We can start it all again I will be the last one Ready to step in There I go, now I know We were already at the end. There’ll come a day, when I face what’s in store A big, busted egg, we’ll rebuild like before That’ll have to wait, but I know what it’s for (and where we’re going) The heroes and the monsters You thought were make believe They’re all here, real as everything You ever conceived Now the show is over The dream has all been dreamed They’re all gone, but we’re still here Are you coming home with me?
